The fourth quarter of 2021 saw some interesting trends in the performance of the top five music games on a unified platform in Hungary. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Beatstar showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $519 in mid-December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 2.6K at the end of September and stabilizing around 1.6K by the end of December. Active users saw a gradual increase from 7.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 6.7K by the end.

Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game experienced consistent weekly revenue, with a peak of $256 in the first week of November. Downloads surged significantly mid-quarter, topping at 8.9K in the last week of December. Active users also saw a remarkable increase, growing from 36K at the start to 46.5K by the end of the quarter.

Geometry Dash maintained fairly stable weekly revenue, with a peak of $190 in early October. Weekly downloads showed a notable rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 3.2K in the week of December 20. The number of active users also increased steadily, from 20.6K at the beginning of the quarter to around 23.6K by the end.

Tiles Hop EDM Rush Music Game displayed steady weekly revenue, peaking at $108 in the week of November 22. Downloads saw a significant uptrend towards the end of the year, peaking at 5.9K in the final week of December. Active users showed a notable increase, from 46.8K at the start of the quarter to 50.8K by the end.
